Biography
Femke is a CRED researcher on natural disaster impacts. She graduated as an Engineer in Human Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University, The Netherlands, specializing in Public Health. Since 2006, she has worked in Nutritional Sciences developing a database on micronutrients (INRA, France), and has participated in the European Network of Excellence on Food Composition Databank systems. In her current role, Femke Vos works with CRED's international disaster database (EM-DAT)analyzing global data on natural disaster impacts on human society.
